Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and guest-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
  • Handle room assignments, key issuance, and billing in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready and guest requests are fulfilled.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of room availability, promotions, and policies.
  • Process reservations and walk-ins according to the established procedures.
  • Ensure proper cash handling, posting of charges, and maintaining guest records.
  • Prepare and review daily reports, ensuring all transactions are accurate and documented properly.
  • Promote and upsell hotel services, room upgrades, and special offers to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with security procedures, privacy standards, and hotel policies.
  • Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all shift duties are completed in accordance with hotel standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar front office assistant role within a hotel or resort.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management
  • Experience working with the Opera system / Excel (Microsoft office).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem Solving Mindset
  • The ability to work a rotating roster with evening and weekend availability
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, German, French) are a plus.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
