A Level History Teacher

Job Description

We are looking for an A Level History Teacher to join our high quality teaching team. The successful candidate will be an inspiring, well qualified and knowledgeable teacher who will be capable of teaching across all secondary Key Stages and up to A Level.

Our ideal candidate will have:

● Bachelor’s degree in Education or BA with PGCE is a minimum requirement. 

● Qualified Teacher with 3-5 years of experience in delivering the National Curriculum for England to A level students.

● Committed professionals who are dedicated to raising standards in alignment with the

schools vision, mission and values.

● Teachers with secure knowledge of the National Curriculum for England.

● Outstanding practitioners with the ability to deliver innovative lessons built on current

pedagogical thinking and forward-thing initiatives.

● Teachers with a natural desire to learn, contribute to and participate in the schools

Professional Learning Community.

● Skilled at using digital tools to ensure that learning is enriched and relevant so as to

complement the schools ‘Apple Distinguished School’ status.

● A professional who works collaboratively both within the immediate team and across the

wider school community.
