Company Description Roomy Property Management & Holiday Homes is a Dubai-based company specializing in holiday home rentals and comprehensive property management services. With over four years of experience, the company manages more than 100 furnished apartments across the city, helping property owners maximize returns through short-term, mid-term, and long-term rentals. An in-house team oversees guest communication, marketing, cleaning, maintenance, and property care to ensure a seamless experience for owners and guests. Supported by dedicated maintenance and housekeeping divisions, Roomy focuses on quality service, strong occupancy rates, and hassle-free property management for its clients.

Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations for Roomy Property Management & Holiday Homes, including recording and reconciling transactions related to rental income, operating expenses, and vendor payments. Typical tasks include preparing invoices, tracking accounts receivable and payable, maintaining accurate ledgers, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and relevant regulations. The Accountant will collaborate closely with operations and management teams to provide financial insights and maintain transparent records for property owners. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple business entities using cloud accounting software (Zoho Books)
  • Reconcile bank accounts and corporate card transactions
  • Oversee accounts payable, including supplier and contractor payments
  • Maintain accurate, categorized expense tracking across a multi-property portfolio
  • Support payroll processing and liaise with the payroll/WPS provider
  • Produce monthly financial statements: P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
  • Prepare project-level financial reporting for renovation projects
  • Own end-to-end VAT compliance, including quarterly FTA filings
  • Own UAE Corporate Tax compliance, including annual return preparation and filing
  • Support financial audits and respond to ad hoc reporting requests from leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE
  • Demonstrated experience independently handling VAT and Corporate Tax filings
  • Proficiency with cloud accounting software (Zoho Books strongly preferred; Xero or QuickBooks also considered)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the finance function
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to Have

  • Part or full professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA)
  • Experience in real estate, property management, or hospitality
  • Familiarity with property management platforms (e.g. Guesty)
