Accountant

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounting including journals, ledgers, reconciliations, and trial balance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensure accuracy and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
• Support budgeting and performance analysis.
• Manage inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and cost tracking.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns on time.
• Support Corporate Tax compliance and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits with required schedules.
• Work on ERP systems (Wingold Next / D365 / Tally) and support process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Advanced degree/MBA preferred).
• Industry experience: At least 3 years in accounting roles within the jewellery or retail
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Must be available in UAE
