Job Description

Role of the Social Worker:

Providing psychological, social, and behavioral support.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Case Management: Assessing students’ situations, preparing confidential social case files, and monitoring their progress.

Psychological and Social Support: Conducting individual and group sessions for students facing family, behavioral, emotional, or psychological challenges.

Behavior and Discipline Management: Developing behavior modification plans and overseeing their implementation in collaboration with teachers and parents.

Child Protection: Managing sensitive child protection cases, preparing official reports, ensuring strict confidentiality, and adhering to protection protocols.

Parental Communication: Holding meetings, providing guidance and support, and monitoring family involvement in intervention plans.

External Collaboration: Coordinating with social service organizations, medical centers, and relevant government agencies as needed.

Awareness and Prevention Programs: Planning and implementing anti-bullying initiatives, stress management programs, and awareness campaigns that promote healthy relationships and student well-being.

Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate case documentation, preparing periodic reports, and compiling files for inspection and compliance purposes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Sociology.
• Practical experience working with children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication, social assessment, and counseling skills.
• Ability to conduct individual and group sessions.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
