About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Director – Marketing and Communications to join Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Develop and implement an annual marketing & communications strategy aligned with sales, revenue, and brand goals.
- Oversee the marketing & communications budget, ensuring effective allocation and ROI across digital, PR, partnerships, and media.Coordinate all agencies across: media buying, creative, content creation, PR, influencers and KOL’s, and similar.
- Lead all brand positioning and storytelling efforts, ensuring alignment with Jumeirah’s global brand strategy and standards.
- Drive integrated campaigns across digital, social media, CRM, and traditional channels to increase brand visibility and direct bookings.Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing & communications team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, media, influencers, and partners to amplify the resort’s profile.
- Oversee content creation and brand consistency across all touchpoints, including OTAs and digital platforms.Analyze performance metrics and market insights to optimize strategies and identify new business opportunities.
About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, audio-visual production, or related field.
- 10+ years in ultra-luxury hospitality marketing & communications, with proven leadership and brand-building experience.
- Experience in leading a 10+ people team.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, media relations, and budget management.
- Strong knowledge of media landscape across local and international markets.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
