Position Overview:
- Seeking a dedicated and passionate SENCO Teacher
- Promote an inclusive learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN)
Skills:
- B.Ed. /M.Ed. in Special Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in special education
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in special education
- Ability to share outstanding practice
- Creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
- Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning
- Aspiration to work in a world-class school
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to design inclusive strategies
- Provide differentiated instruction and support to individuals or small groups
- Conduct assessments to identify students with SEN
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SEN team and parents
- Create a collaborative support network for students with SEN
- Implement evidence-based interventions and accommodations
- Stay updated on best practices in special education and inclusion
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
