Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations such as accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts per FDA and relevant tax/legal frameworks
- Manage and supervise the finance team, including training, performance monitoring, and task delegation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with department heads.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial KPIs to ensure business sustainability.
- Manage audits (internal and external) and ensure timely submission of all regulatory filings.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.
- Use SAP ERP (FI/CO) for data entry, reporting, reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with operational teams to optimize cost control and improve financial efficiency.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the senior management based on financial performance and industry trends.
- Collaborate with consultants for VAT and tax compliance.
- Mentor junior accountants and support their skills development.
- Lead or support ERP system operations, upgrades, and improvements
- Identify accounting process improvement opportunities and help implement best-in-class solutions.
- Prepare periodic management reports and deliver actionable insights for Management.
Requirements:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA (Finalist)
• Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance roles, preferably in the tourism or hospitality sector
• ERP Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in SAP (FI/CO) is mandatory
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local tax laws
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Leadership abilities and experience managing a finance team

• Experience in tourism or travel services industry
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong ethics and integrity in financial reporting and data handling
• Multilingual skills are a plus
Salary: 8000 to 10,000 AED
