About the Job:
Serve Guests within the BU F&B Outlets to their satisfaction following the Jumeirah standards & Food and Beverages procedures. Cater to guest requirements bytaking food and beverage orders, serving food and beverages and attend to their needs
- Greet and acknowledge all guests with warm welcome and smile. Answer inquiries about their needs and assist them as necessary in polite manner following Jumeirah StandardsÂ
- Take food & beverage orders and run food & drinks. Complete Day-to-day activities in line with instructions, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
- Set up and pack down the restaurant and bar area following service periods. Set up marquees, arrange tables and assist with the preparation of event spaces as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and assigned station as per established policies and standards throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklistÂ
- Act as an effective link between the kitchen and service areas to ensure smooth operations and meet services standardsÂ
- Provide hands-on support to the Chefs and Asst. Outlet Manager on all areas of their assigned dutiesÂ
- Ensure that high standard of personal hygiene and grooming are strictly observed and followed. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
- Ensure the guests of the outlet experience an enjoyable and memorable byfollowing the outlet sequence of serviceÂ
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals and listen and respond appropriately to Supervisor’s directions
- Handle guests’ inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to the Team Leaders if no immediate solution can be foundÂ
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions enabling delivery of luxurious service to guests and in line with Jumeirah standard of excellence thus providing excellent and memorable service to our Guests
- Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment procedures, instructions, and controlsÂ
- Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management
Qualifications
- Higher Secondary School certificate or Country specific certification
