Job Description
Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Non-Native Arabic program, ensuring it aligns with the school’s academic goals.
- Lead, mentor, and support Arabic teachers, providing professional development opportunities and guidance.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching strategies, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to enhance Arabic language education across the school.
Curriculum & Instruction:
- Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of an engaging Non-Native Arabic curriculum that caters to various proficiency levels.
- Ensure alignment with national and international standards for Arabic language instruction.
- Introduce innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance student engagement and language acquisition.
- Utilize assessment data to track student progress and inform instructional strategies.
Staff Development & Performance Management:
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development for Arabic language teachers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Encourage collaboration among staff to share best practices and enhance teaching methodologies.
Student Achievement & Engagement:
- Monitor and support student progress, implementing intervention strategies when necessary.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages language development and cultural appreciation.
- Organize events, workshops, and initiatives that enhance students’ Arabic language skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-  A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 5 year’s teaching experience
- Experience as a Head of DepartmentÂ
