Higher Level ELL Assistant Teacher
Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ELL/EAL Assistant Teacher to join our team and support the development of English language learners in our school. If you have a strong background in English language education, we would love to hear from you!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English (Literature or Linguistics)
- English proficiency level B2-C1
- Russian language proficiency will be an advantage
Desirable Qualifications:
- CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support for English language learners in mainstream English classes.
- Conduct small group interventions to help students improve their English skills.
- Collaborate with class teachers to differentiate lessons and adapt materials for ELL students.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their language goals.
- Assist in developing ILPs (individual language plans) to support students’ academic growth.
- Support students’ transition into the school environment, offering guidance and encouragement.
