Hyperbaric Physician (Seychelles)

Job Description

• Evaluating a patient’s medical history and current health status
• Performing a physical examination of the patient
• Diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions that can benefit from hyperbaric oxygen therapy
• Overseeing the administration of hyperbaric oxygen therapy
• Monitoring the patient’s response to treatment and adjusting the treatment plan as necessary
• Participating in research to enhance the knowledge and practice of hyperbaric medicine
• Communicating with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient’s care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
• Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in hyperbaric medicine
• Ensuring the safe operation of the hyperbaric chamber and other related equipment

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board certification in Hyperbaric Medicine.
• Valid and active medical license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in hyperbaric medicine.
• Outstanding patient management skills.
• Strong understanding of hyperbaric therapy principles and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
