Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day academic operations of the KG section
• Monitor the quality of teaching and learning through classroom observations and regular follow-up
• Support effective curriculum planning, implementation and assessment
• Monitor student attainment and progress and support appropriate interventions
• Guide, mentor and provide professional support to KG teachers and teaching assistants
• Ensure consistency in lesson planning, classroom practices and learning environments
• Support teachers in implementing differentiated and student-centred learning approaches
• Coordinate KG meetings, activities, events and academic initiatives
• Support positive behaviour, student wellbeing and safeguarding practices
• Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student learning and development
• Work collaboratively with School Leadership, Inclusion, Pastoral and other academic teams
• Support school improvement priorities, inspections and accreditation requirements
• Ensure KG practices are aligned with school policies and applicable ADEK requirementsCandidate Requirements
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a relevant recognised qualification
✔ Minimum 3–5 years of successful KG/Early Years teaching experience
✔ Previous experience as a KG Coordinator, Team Leader, Lead Teacher or similar leadership position is highly preferred
✔ Strong understanding of Early Years pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and child development
✔ Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop teachers
✔ Strong classroom observation and instructional leadership skills
✔ Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
✔ Experience within a UAE school environment is preferred
✔ Candidates must meet the applicable ADEK eligibility and approval requirements
