Job Description
Teaching and Learning:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Incorporate technology and real-world applications to enhance mathematical understanding.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying levels of ability and learning styles.
Assessment and Reporting:
- Design and implement formative and summative assessments to track student progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning.
- Maintain accurate records and report student achievement to parents and school leadership.
Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
- Promote positive behavior and classroom routines that support learning.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning sessions, and school-wide professional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop curriculum resources.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics
- Teaching qualification/certification
- IELTS Score of 6.5
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for teaching and assessment
