- Obtains and verifies patient information, including clinical, medical, and surgical history, for appropriate ophthalmic assessments.
- Oversees orders for contact lenses and low vision aids to ensure accurate and timely delivery to patients.
- Communicates significant assessment findings to the Optometry team and other clinical caregivers.
- Prioritizes caseloads according to primary healthcare principles and available resources.
- Develops and maintains accurate clinical documentation, ensuring timely completion and comprehensive patient records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in optometry an active DOH license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a JCIA environment.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous professional development.
