Job Description
The Sales Manager is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, you are responsible for leading and driving sales engagements. You are motivated by the desire to solve critical challenges facing our customer’s compliance requirements.
You will have solid understanding of accounting/tax technology concepts and proven experience in B2B technology sales.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the sales cycle with the ability to uncover, qualifying, developing, and closing new, white-space territories and accounts
- Monitor daily deal flow, CRM pipeline, and conversion metrics to optimise team output
- Provide coaching, training, and continuous performance evaluation to ensure the sales team are well-equipped and motivated
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure a seamless sales process and high lead conversion
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CFOs, Head of Tax, Financial Controllers).
- Stay updated on tax trends, threats, and compliance regulations to better position solutions.
- A Hunter – Ability to prospect and drive new sales – a must.
- Ability to thrive in a startup organisation environment that’s fast-evolving.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organisational, multi-tasking, and prioritising skills.
- Self Starter – Must be self-motivated with a strong sense of Urgency, Ownership and Can-do-attitude.
- Leads by example with high energy, transparency, relationship management, and influencing skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing a sales team.
- Strong understanding of compliance products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (technical, product, delivery).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory).
