Job Title: Senior Accountant – Owners Association / Community Management

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations for Owners Associations and community-managed properties in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAE VAT, RERA compliance, and real estate accounting, along with hands-on experience in Mollak ERP and service charge accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting for Owners Associations and community management portfolios
• Ensure compliance with RERA regulations, Mollak guidelines, and UAE VAT laws
• Prepare and review service charge budgets, financial statements, and variance analysis
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
• Handle bank reconciliations and manage relationships with banking platforms
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and ensure timely closure of audit requirements
• Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management
• Monitor cash flow, fund management, and reserve allocations for communities
• Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring high performance and development
• Liaise with property managers, board members, and external stakeholders

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in UAE VAT, RERA regulations, and real estate accounting
• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, MIS, and audit coordination
• Hands-on experience with Mollak ERP and banking platforms
• Strong leadership, review, and mentoring capabilities
• High analytical ability with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Professional certification (CA / ACCA / CMA) preferred
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE
• Mandatory experience in Owners Association / Community Management accounting
• Exposure to RERA-regulated projects and service charge accounting is essential
