Job Title: Senior Accountant – Owners Association / Community Management
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations for Owners Associations and community-managed properties in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAE VAT, RERA compliance, and real estate accounting, along with hands-on experience in Mollak ERP and service charge accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting for Owners Associations and community management portfolios
- Ensure compliance with RERA regulations, Mollak guidelines, and UAE VAT laws
- Prepare and review service charge budgets, financial statements, and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
- Handle bank reconciliations and manage relationships with banking platforms
- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and ensure timely closure of audit requirements
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management
- Monitor cash flow, fund management, and reserve allocations for communities
- Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring high performance and development
- Liaise with property managers, board members, and external stakeholders
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in UAE VAT, RERA regulations, and real estate accounting
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, MIS, and audit coordination
- Hands-on experience with Mollak ERP and banking platforms
- Strong leadership, review, and mentoring capabilities
- High analytical ability with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Professional certification (CA / ACCA / CMA) preferred
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE
- Mandatory experience in Owners Association / Community Management accounting
- Exposure to RERA-regulated projects and service charge accounting is essential
