Job Description

Clinical Audit Projects

  • Conduct clinical audits to evaluate and improve NMCRH-KC practices.
  • Assess treatment appropriateness and care quality based on clinical guidelines and standards.
  • Identify necessary adjustments to enhance patient care.

Project Management

  • Initiate and manage audit projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop actionable recommendations for practice improvements.

Staff Support

  • Provide guidance and support to internal and external staff conducting clinical audits..

Responsibilities

Clinical Audit Coordination

  • Manage clinical audit projects, including data planning, analysis, and timely reporting.
  • Develop data collection tools and coordinate with departments for essential clinical, performance, and operational data.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Meet with stakeholders (e.g., doctors, nurses) to provide feedback and recommendations.
  • Follow up on improvement recommendations and report updates to relevant entities.

Data Management and Analysis

  • Review, interpret, and collect data from diverse sources such as patient and hospital records.
  • Conduct literature reviews to support evidence-based recommendations for practice changes.

Reporting and Presentation

  • Present findings and progress updates to departments and relevant committees.

Improvement and Compliance

  • Contribute to other improvement projects as required.
  • Adhere to all hospital rules, policies, and standards, including OSH and infection control.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

  • Follow emergency and evacuation procedures and report any hazards or incidents.
  • Comply with waste management protocols and attend OSH and infection control training.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Undergraduate degree in nursing or medicine from an accredited institution.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and Email.

Language Skills

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is advantageous but not essential.
