Senior Manager – Finance Implementation (PIOC) (Noatum ports) UAE
Job Description
Responsible for implementation of ADPG finance processes and systems into new port operating companies onboarded to International Ports of ADPG. This includes staffing, training, creation of necessary processes and frameworks and implementation of financial and consolidation systems including new Oracle Fusion as ERP.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and maintain standard financial frameworks for all international ports.
• Own the rollout plan for the portfolio and timely role out financial processes and systems for new ports companies across the world.
• Ensure local teams are trained and onboarded (in relation ADPG accounting policies, systems etc)
• Work with Finance and the ERP vendor to review and design the financial chart of accounts in preparation for upload to the new Finance Module.
• Work with (support) HR and the ERP vendor to document the payroll process and related requirements for configuration of the HR and Payroll modules.
• Manage the overall Oracle Fusion implementation projects in partnership with the ERP Vendor, Corporate Finance and IT from initiation, planning, execution to closing for international ports
• Work with the ERP vendor and IT to design and implement the integration between the operational ports systems and Oracle
• Contribute to the preparation of project documentation for each implementation phase such as timelines, requirements, process maps, solution designs and change management plans.
• Ensure effective communications and expectations with internal and external stakeholders by chairing and minuting regular project team meetings.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery for all project related action items and deliverables.
• Keep track of the project schedule against milestones. Analyze project progress and costs when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
• Prepare periodic summary progress updates to project sponsors including completed work, upcoming work and any risks the project faces.

• Ensure effective communication and coordination among the team as well as with other departments and external partners.
Strategic Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely implementation of ADPG process and systems for effective integration of new international ports
• Ensure a robust performance management framework in place by having the right process and systems
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that the company’s financial goals are met.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any relevant Master’s degree is a plus.
• Chartered accountancy or suitable accounting qualification is essential (CPA or CFA)
Language Skills:
• Excellent English. Arabic/French an added advantage
Years of Experience:
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role (implementation and / or Finance management)
Nature of Experience:
• Setting up finance functions across entities
• Experience in ERP implementation
• Managing finance for port operations
• Project management
• Remotely managing teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in ERP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software
