Specialist – Family Medicine
Job Description
 We are looking for a qualified and experienced Family Medicine Specialist to join our healthcare team and provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services to individuals and families across different age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients across all age groups.
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in a primary care setting.
- Conduct routine health assessments, preventive screenings, and wellness consultations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate medical advice and education.
- Manage common family medicine conditions including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory illnesses, infections, and other chronic diseases.
- Promote preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when required and coordinate continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and professional standards.
Requirements
- MD/MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Specialty qualification in Family Medicine recognized by the relevant UAE health authority.
- Valid DOH/DHA/MOHAP license or eligibility, as applicable.
- Relevant post-specialization clinical experience in Family Medicine/Primary Care.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population independently.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
