Staff Nurse – OBGYN Ward

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ObGyn) Ward team. The role involves providing safe, high-quality nursing care to women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, the postnatal period, and for patients with gynaecological conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in obstetric and gynaecological nursing, strong clinical assessment skills, and a patient-centred approach to care. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team while developing expertise in women’s health and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to obstetric and gynaecology patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, escalating concerns promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Support patients and families through pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and gynaecological care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
• Provide patient education on postnatal care, newborn care, medications, and women’s health.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and infection control standards.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and ongoing professional development.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid UAE License or eligibility.
• Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certification.
  

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in OBGYN Ward department.
