Job Description

The VP – Sales is responsible for leading the strategic positioning and development of a results-driven Sales function that directly supports revenue growth across current and future value propositions. This role focuses on expanding the organization’s presence in existing and emerging markets by aligning sales strategies with business goals and implementing data-driven, personalized engagement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Growth
    • Monitor healthcare market trends and recommend new business opportunities.
    • Align sales strategy with group/division objectives.
    • Develop a strategic roadmap with defined value propositions.
    • Drive revenue performance, improving conversion rates and productivity.
    • Lead cultural change initiatives to enhance client experience.
  • Sales Team Leadership (Future Scope)
    • Define sales team structures and key supporting roles.
    • Set and track team KPIs and manage individual performance plans.
    • Conduct annual appraisals and facilitate succession planning.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Create and execute tactical sales plans targeting market share growth.
    • Build and nurture client and influencer relationships.
    • Actively network within relevant healthcare and industry forums.
  • Market Intelligence & Analytics
    • Deliver actionable market insights to inform strategic decisions.
    • Produce and maintain reporting dashboards (e.g., Tableau).
    • Present quarterly reviews to business stakeholders and OPSCO.
  • Client Demand Generation & Capture
    • Design and lead demand generation campaigns using targeted strategies.
    • Integrate technology for optimized digital audience reach and engagement.
    • Oversee lead nurturing and personalized marketing efforts.
  • Data-Driven Communication Practices
    • Establish data and consent policies for client communications.
    • Ensure policy compliance and embed it in marketing workflows.

Qualifications

Education and Certification

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Essential)
  • Tertiary and Postgraduate qualifications (Desired) Not required
