Job Description

We are seeking a Website Content & Development Specialist to play a key role in managing, enhancing, and developing our digital platforms. This position requires expertise in website content management, HubSpot CMS development, SEO, security best practices, and technical integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing custom modules in HubSpot, implementing website enhancements, and ensuring seamless integrations with CRM and marketing tools.

The role involves close collaboration with IT, marketing, and external development teams to optimise digital experiences, maintain security compliance, and build scalable web solutions that support business objectives.

Key Accountabilities

HubSpot CMS Development & Customisation

  • Develop and customise HubSpot CMS modules, themes, and templates to enhance website functionality.
  • Implement HubSpot HubL coding to build dynamic web components.
  • Optimise website performance by improving page load times, mobile responsiveness, and structured content.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop custom landing pages, forms, and interactive elements using HubSpot.
  • Troubleshoot and debug HubSpot-related issues, ensuring smooth functionality.
  • Stay updated on HubSpot’s latest features and best practices for development.

Website Content Management & Enhancements

  • Oversee and maintain content quality and performance across company websites.
  • Refresh web designs, templates, and user experiences in line with business goals.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop website assets that support digital marketing strategies.
  • Manage website projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to content strategies.
  • Write, edit, and optimise website content to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Provide CMS training and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Website Development & Integrations

  • Convert custom designs into functional web pages using HubSpot CMS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Implement integrations between HubSpot, Salesforce, and other third-party platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Develop and maintain API connections between the website and marketing automation tools.
  • Ensure the website remains scalable, secure, and optimised for performance.
  • Work with IT and external development partners to implement website enhancements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Support the digital team in developing SEM landing pages, pop-ups, and email templates within HubSpot.

SEO & Website Performance Optimisation

  • Define and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and search engine visibility.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and optimise on-page elements, metadata, and internal linking structures.
  • Execute link-building and off-page SEO strategies to improve domain authority.
  • Monitor SEO performance and adjust tactics based on analytics and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the paid digital team to align organic and paid search strategies.

Website Security & Compliance

  • Implement security best practices to protect website data and user information.
  • Work with IT to ensure compliance with Salesforce CRM integration and security requirements.
  • Assist in configuring Web Application Firewalls (WAF), security headers, and access controls.
  • Restrict access to sensitive website areas and improve user authentication processes.
  • Support efforts to enhance website security through input validation, brute-force protection, and secure account management.

Skills

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in HubSpot CMS development, website management, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot HubL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API development.
  • Strong experience in building and customising HubSpot modules, themes, and templates.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integration and CRM data flow best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools and optimisation techniques.
  • Familiarity with website security best practices, including WAF, secure authentication, and data validation.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for web development and integrations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines.
