About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our finance team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting analyses, and ensuring smooth communication with clients and vendors. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple financial processes in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and maintain financial records and statements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support management decisions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely posting, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Post and maintain customer and vendor records accurately in the ERP system, ensuring all details are up to date and compliant with internal procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Participate in auditing processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  • Post and audit invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers within the ERP system.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Maintain documentation and records for all financial transactions in a systematic and organized manner.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong command of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, or similar).
  • Fluency in Arabic is mandatory; professional English communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the medical equipment or healthcare industry is an added advantage.
