The Role:

We are looking for an AR Accountant who will take ownership of accounts receivable activities while also supporting core accounting tasks. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow, accurate financial records, and strong coordination with internal teams and customers.

You will work closely with the finance team to ensure timely collections, accurate reporting, and compliance with accounting standards, while contributing to the overall financial stability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable: Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and customer account follow-ups.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
  • Budget Management: Assist in budget creation and monitoring, providing insights into budget variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Reconciliation: Conduct account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, and present findings to the finance team.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications:

CA or relevant certification.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
