Role Description

The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions within the clinic, maintaining proper accounting records, and contributing to the smooth operation of the Finance department. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, especially within the healthcare industry, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable, including timely billing and collection follow-ups.
  • Support revenue recognition and reconciliation in line with clinic operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
  • Support month-end closing activities and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Act as a backup for the Senior Accountant during absences or peak periods.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a clinic or healthcare setting in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of revenue and receivables management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
