Accountant
Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, UAE/Oman/KSA regulations, and preferably prior exposure to the healthcare or medical equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare and review invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts
- Assist in VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE/Oman tax regulations
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and cost allocations
- Support audit processes and provide required documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, operations, service) for financial alignment
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
- Prior experience in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sectors is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations in the UAE, Oman & KSA
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
