Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team at Al Hayat Cement Factory. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy of financial records, and support month-end closing.

Key Responsibilities:
*Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
*Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations
*Process invoices, payments, and payroll
*Assist with VAT filing and compliance with UAE regulations
*Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
*Liaise with banks and external auditors
*Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
*Prepare and summarize all the transaction reports and financial status which includes a balance sheet, profit & loss statement
*Present financial reports to higher management and accountants
*Stay up to date knowledge of the latest business trends
*Finalization of accounts
*Provide support in the month-end and year-end closing process
*Provide support in tax returns and tax audit
*Manage and maintain general ledgers
*Develop financial procedures to improve efficiency

Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
*2-4 years experience as an Accountant, preferably in manufacturing/construction
*Proficiency in Tally/QuickBooks/SAP and MS
*Excel Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and WPS
*CPA/CMA/ACCA is a plus
*Good communication skills is a must
