We are recruiting an experienced Accountant for a UAE-based Defence & Aerospace / Industrial organisation.

Job Description

The Accountant will support day-to-day bookkeeping, banking transactions, reconciliations and financial administration.

Responsibilities

• Perform general bookkeeping.
• Record financial transactions.
• Complete bank reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Process and track bank transfers.
• Support SWIFT transactions where required.
• Coordinate with correspondent banks where necessary.
• Maintain accounting records within Odoo.
• Assist with month-end closing.
• Prepare supporting financial schedules.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial documentation.
  

Qualifications

• Proven accounting experience.
• Strong bookkeeping skills.
• Strong bank-reconciliation experience.
• Experience with payment and bank-transfer processing.
• SWIFT/correspondent banking exposure advantageous.
• Odoo Finance or equivalent accounting-system experience.
• High level of accounting accuracy.
• Good English communication skills.
