Role Description
York Towers is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for handling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations. The role also includes supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts and collaborating with other departments to maintain efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and accurately record day-to-day financial transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Analyze financial data to support business and management decisions
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial laws, regulations, and company policies
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial reporting and controls
- Work with ERP and financial software systems for efficient data processing and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience is required)
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations in the UAE
- Proven experience in managing financial transactions and financial reporting
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis
- Preferred: Experience working with ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
