Job Description

Job Purpose

To manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide timely financial reports to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate reporting.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process supplier invoices and payments.

Issue customer invoices and follow up on collections.

Reconcile supplier and customer statements.

Financial Reporting

Prepare trial balance, P&L statements, and balance sheets.

Generate management reports for review and analysis.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and statutory requirements.

Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

Implement accounting policies in line with IFRS.

Banking & Treasury

Manage petty cash, cash flow, and bank transfers.

Maintain relationships with banks for smooth financial operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred but not mandatory.

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations (VAT, corporate compliance).

Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP B1 knowledge would be an advantage).

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
