JESS Jumeirah Primary School is seeking an Arabic Support Teacher for Early Years to start in August 2025.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, talented professional with exceptional subject knowledge, a proven track record of excellence in delivering Arabic, and a clear understanding of effective and engaging teaching and learning in the Early Years to join our successful and supportive Early Years and Arabic Departments.

The successful candidate will be passionate about facilitating engaging opportunities either teacher led or as part of the Early Years’ continuous provision, ensuring an early exposure to the learning Arabic and fostering a developing interest in learning the language.

As part of our commitment to our staff’s personal and professional development, comprehensive professional development will be provided to the successful candidates, who will: 

  • be fully qualified Arabic Teachers with a relevant degree and a professional teaching qualification such as CACHE 3 or Teaching Diploma is desirable. Emirati and newly Qualified Teachers are encouraged to apply as comprehensive training will be provided as part of professional development
  • have experience of teaching, as well as a strong track record of successful academic outcomes is desirable
  • have experience of working with students from an Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 is desirable
  • be excited and committed to work with students from Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1
  • be committed to personal professional development
  • be able to use and promote a range of teaching and learning strategies and ability to create a stimulating and safe learning environment for all students by establishing high expectations and implementing effective classroom management and organisation 
  • have a robust knowledge and understanding of raising standards in Arabic
  • have the ability to develop schemes of work and appropriate resources to suit the needs of students in Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1
  • be committed to collaborating with other staff members and building strong relationships 
  • be committed to safeguarding and child protection and the wider pastoral care of students in their care 
  • be able to contribute to wider school life outside the classroom in terms of extracurricular activities and school community events 

The package includes a competitive salary. We do not offer a visa or medical insurance for this role. Discount on school fees become available after 12 months in post.
