Role Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, analyze market trends, and drive revenue growth. The role involves collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams to expand our customer base and achieve business targets.
Job description:
1. Market Research & Opportunity Identification
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, demand patterns, and competitor activities in key UAE markets such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Identify potential land acquisition and development opportunities.
- Evaluate feasibility studies, highest & best use analysis, and financial projections.
2. Land Acquisition & Project Sourcing
- Source off-market and on-market land deals.
- Build relationships with landowners, brokers, and government authorities.
- Support due diligence processes (legal, financial, technical).
- Negotiate commercial terms and prepare deal structures.
3. Strategic Partnerships & Networking
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, investors, consultants, and contractors.
- Represent the company at property exhibitions such as Cityscape Global.
- Establish joint ventures and strategic alliances.
4. Financial & Investment Analysis
- Prepare financial models including IRR, ROI, NPV calculations.
- Develop business cases for new developments.
- Work closely with finance teams on funding strategies and investor presentations.
5. Sales & Revenue Growth Support
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to align product positioning.
- Identify new sales channels and distribution partnerships.
- Monitor project sales performance and market absorption rates.
6. Regulatory & Government Liaison
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities such as Dubai Land Department and Real Estate Regulatory Agency.
- Ensure compliance with UAE real estate laws and development regulations.
7. Reporting & Strategy
- Prepare periodic business development reports for senior management.
- Present investment proposals and strategic plans.
- Track KPIs related to pipeline growth, deal closures, and revenue targets.
Qualifications:
- Strong business acumen with skills in market analysis and strategic planning
- Proficiency in relationship building, communication, and client management
- Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Knowledge of the real estate industry or luxury development is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
