Pharmacist

Job Description

Reem Hospital is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications while providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and patient counseling.

Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations.
• Review prescriptions to ensure appropriateness, dosage accuracy, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide patients with professional counseling regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Monitor and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, storage, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
• Participate in medication management initiatives and patient education programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Valid DOH License as a Pharmacist or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and medication management practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
