A&M International We are a leading construction company seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in controlling project costs, evaluating financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project costs and track actual expenses vs. budgeted figures.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to monitor and control expenditures.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Support in pricing, bidding, and financial modeling for new projects.
- Ensure cost control procedures are followed across all projects.
- Assist in preparing financial presentations for management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost analysis, preferably in the construction or contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
- Certification such as CMA, CPA, or PMP is a plus.
- Familiarity with cost control software or project management tools.
