The Dialysis Nurse I is responsible for assessing the care needs of dialysis patients and for planning, delivering, and evaluating holistic care in accordance with the standards of Amana Healthcare.
Responsibilities

- Provides safe, holistic, and patient‑centered care across all dialysis settings.

- Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and supports organizational development.
- Mentors junior staff and new joiners, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Delivers comprehensive dialysis care during pre‑, intra‑, and post‑treatment phases.
- Adheres to evidence‑based practices, scope of practice, and organizational policies.
- Ensures accurate medication administration and responds promptly to clinical emergencies.
- Maintains and monitors dialysis equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety.
- Practices cultural sensitivity and upholds patient dignity, encouraging family involvement.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation in accordance with standards.
- Follows strict infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe care environment.
- Engages in continuous education and professional development to uphold high standards of care.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Dialysis Nurse
- Preferably with current dialysis experience
- Experience in long‑term care settings, especially with ventilated patients at the bedside, is an advantage
