Job Purpose
The American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to lead and support the University’s digital marketing initiatives. The role is responsible for developing and executing data-driven digital strategies, managing multi-channel campaigns, and optimizing performance to enhance AUE’s online presence, student engagement, and lead generation.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will provide expertise in digital strategy, paid advertising, SEO, and analytics to ensure effective campaign performance and alignment with institutional marketing objectives.
Salary Range
AED 6,000 – 7,000 per month (subject to experience) + additional benefits
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing and campaign management
- Proven experience in developing and executing digital marketing strategies
- Strong expertise in Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads Manager, and other digital advertising platforms
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking tools

Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy Consulting
- Provide strategic recommendations for user acquisition and digital growth
- Support segmentation and targeting of key audiences
- Advise on optimal digital channels and campaign strategies
Digital Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across platforms including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter/X, and other relevant channels
- Develop full-funnel marketing strategies including awareness, engagement, and conversion stages
- Implement audience targeting, lookalike modeling, and retargeting strategies
- Monitor and improve campaign performance, ensuring strong lead quality and ROI
Google Ads Optimization
- Manage Search, Display, Video, and Performance campaigns
- Conduct keyword research, bidding strategy optimization, and A/B testing
- Improve CTR, Quality Score, and conversion rates
- Deliver ongoing performance reports and insights
Website Analytics & Tracking
- Support digital analytics setup for website optimization
- Manage Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Facebook Pixel implementation
- Develop event tracking, custom reporting dashboards, and audience insights
- Integrate Google Search Console and provide regular performance analysis
SEO Consulting
- Conduct technical SEO audits including crawlability and indexability
- Analyze Core Web Vitals and site performance metrics
- Optimize internal linking structure and canonicalization
- Perform keyword research and map keywords to landing pages
- Monitor backlink profile and identify harmful or toxic links
