Blue Ocean Health is seeking an experienced Embryologist to join our team in Al Ain, in accordance with Department of Health (DoH) – Abu Dhabi regulations and standards.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Perform embryology laboratory procedures in compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory guidelines
Handle gametes and embryos, including fertilization, culture, grading, biopsy, and cryopreservation
Conduct embryo biopsy (Day 3 and Day 5) procedures
Perform and support ICSI, IVF, and related ART techniques
Apply and maintain advanced cryo-preservation techniques (vitrification and warming)
Ensure accurate laboratory documentation, quality control, and adherence to infection control protocols
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams in assisted reproductive procedures

🔹 Mandatory Qualifications & Experience (As per DoH – Abu Dhabi):
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology / Applied Science / Zoology (The qualification must be clearly mentioned on the final degree certificate)

M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology (in addition to the Bachelor’s degree above)

Minimum 2 years of post–M.Sc. experience, OR
Minimum 5 years of post–Bachelor’s degree experience

Valid license/registration with the relevant authority in the home country is mandatory

⚠️ Important DoH – Abu Dhabi Clarification:
Degrees in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Life Sciences are not accepted by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi for the Embryologist role.

🔹 Required Technical Skills:
Embryo biopsy (Day 3 and Day 5)
ICSI, IVF, and embryo culture techniques
Cryopreservation and warming techniques
Strong understanding of IVF laboratory quality standards and best practices
