Female – Lifeguard and Swim Coach – Immediate Start
The Arbor School is seeking a special individual for an exciting opportunity within our school. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the school’s commitment to student wellbeing, safety, and physical development.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Female – Lifeguard and Swim Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of students in and around the swimming pool, while also delivering engaging and effective swimming sessions that help students develop their confidence, skills, and enjoyment of swimming.

Job Summary
The successful applicant will support the delivery of the school’s swimming and physical education programmes, providing safe, engaging, and high-quality swimming instruction across a range of age groups and abilities. They will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students in and around the pool, while developing students’ swimming skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the water.
The successful applicant will also support the effective running of swimming activities and make full use of the school’s outstanding facilities and learning spaces.
Integrated with the rigorous expectations of the English National Curriculum, the curriculum of the Arbor School is a blend of a knowledge rich curriculum, delivered using constructivist approaches that nurture competencies learners need to care for themselves, for others and for the environment. This includes a critical focus on inquiry and place-based styles learning.
Required Candidate Profile
- Very Good English language skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in education and/or relevant field or qualification is preferred.
- A recognised and appropriate teaching assistant qualification such Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, T Level in Education
- IELTS score at an advanced level 6.5 to 8.0
- Strong office/admin experience
- Two years’ experience working in a school or similar setting. a
- Experience in working with English National Curriculum
- Experience working in an international, premium quality school
