Our team is passionate, diverse, and forward-thinking, and we are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Coordinator to join our Finance & Accounting Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the company’s financial operations by supporting accounting, treasury, financial reporting, and compliance activities while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, journal postings, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies, IFRS, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliations, vendor and customer reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Process and review supplier invoices, customer receipts, credit notes, remittances, and payment transactions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for customer accounts, vendor transactions, credit processing, and related party balances.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, management reports, budget tracking, cash flow monitoring, cost analysis, and other accounting schedules.
  • Assist in VAT compliance activities, including review of input and output VAT, VAT account reconciliations, preparation of VAT return schedules, and maintenance of supporting tax documentation in line with UAE VAT requirements.
  • Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance by assisting in the preparation of tax-related schedules, reconciliations, supporting documentation, and coordination with tax advisors where required.
  • Maintain proper documentation for related party and intercompany transactions, with exposure to transfer pricing requirements considered an advantage.
  • Assist in external and internal audit activities, including preparation of audit schedules, supporting documents, account breakdowns, confirmations, and responses to auditor queries.
  • Support fixed asset accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, reconciliations, and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
  • Assist with statutory, regulatory, tax, and internal reporting requirements as applicable.
  • Administer and maintain finance-related systems, including SAP, SAP Concur, banking platforms, and credit card management systems.
  • Work closely with internal departments, external auditors, tax advisors, banks, customers, and suppliers to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, documentation, reconciliations, and record management.
  • Perform other accounting, finance, tax, and audit-related duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, tax, treasury, or financial operations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Practical knowledge of UAE VAT compliance is required.
  • Knowledge or exposure to UAE Corporate Tax is preferred.
  • Transfer pricing knowledge, particularly related to intercompany or related party transactions, is an advantage.
  • Experience in audit coordination, audit schedule preparation, and handling external auditor requirements is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred; familiarity with SAP Concur or other ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external auditors, tax advisors, banks, vendors, and customers.
