Role Description The Financial Accounting Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial records and financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing general ledgers, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis, support audits, assist with tax-related documentation, and ensure compliance with internal controls. The role also involves working with accounting software, generating regular financial reports, and communicating key financial insights to management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficient in preparing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
• Strong Analytical Skills with a thorough understanding of Finance
• Experience with Accounting Software and technology-driven financial solutions
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus ACCA, CMA, CPA or CA Qualification
• 2 years experience in Finance, Taxation in similar industry is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar financial accounting role is preferred
• Familiarity with UAE financial regulations is an advantage
