Job Description

Responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive system disorders. Provides high-quality, evidence-based medical care and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for gastrointestinal and hepatology conditions.
• Manage diseases such as GERD, IBS, IBD, gastritis, ulcers, liver diseases, and GI disorders.
• Perform and interpret gastroenterology procedures including endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients regarding treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and continuing medical education.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Specialist qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Valid UAE Specialist License/eligibility.
• Female Gastroenterologist preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Gastroenterology after specialization.
• Strong experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
• Valid BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
