Job Description
Milele Car Rental is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead and scale its car rental business. This is a senior leadership role with full financial and administrative authority, responsible for end-to-end business performance, growth and operational excellence.
The role reports directly to the Group Business Head – Automotive and will play a key role in shaping strategy, profitability, and customer experience across the rental business.
Key Responsibilities
Business & P&L Ownership
- Own full P&L responsibility for the car rental business, ensuring revenue growth, cost optimization, and sustainable profitability.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies aligned with group objectives.
- Drive pricing, utilization, fleet mix, and yield management to maximize returns.
- NTC – new to company accounts, corporate fleet, repeat customer list, business expansion
Operations & Fleet Management
- Oversee all rental operations including fleet planning, utilization, maintenance coordination, and asset lifecycle management.
- Ensure high service standards across customer touchpoints while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for utilization, downtime, damages, and operational costs.
- Fleet preventive maintenance, to minimize Maintenance cost
Sales, Marketing & Partnerships
- Lead B2B, B2C, and corporate sales strategies to grow market share.
- Strengthen partnerships with corporate clients, aggregators, brokers, and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on demand generation, pricing campaigns, and brand visibility.
- Clear business targets to sales staff. Three months threshold – nonperformers to be fired on completion of 90 days
Financial & Administrative Authority
- Exercise financial and administrative authority over budgets, approvals, contracts, and vendor management.
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk controls in line with UAE regulations.
- Drive process discipline and reporting transparency
- Directly responsible for profit and loss of business.
People & Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across operations, sales, and support functions
- Conduct workload analysis and rationalize manpower in conjunction with HR
- Conduct peer business analysis with similar size competitors.
- Improvise business processes to make them efficient and effective
- Incorporate internal control to optimize available resources
- Develop and implement MIS to facilitate monthly review process on business in conjunction with finance
- Ensure measurable KPIs are assigned to sales and operations staff, progress is monitored on daily basis
- Market trends/ Competition activity and schemes or offers by competition are to only counter but planned in a manner to produce better business results.

Candidate Profile
10+ years of senior leadership experience in the car rental, automotive leasing or mobility sector (UAE or GCC experience is MUST).
