About the role:          

The Graduate Associate Software Engineer role is an entry-level position within our vibrant software engineering team. You will actively participate in developing and maintaining the technology solutions that will drive the Emirates Group – IT business forward. This is a 2-year graduate program designed to provide you with hands-on experience and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in the development of scalable software applications and systems.
• Assist in analysing project requirements and contributing to software design.
• Write, test, and deploy code, ensuring it meets functional and technical standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues, applying your academic knowledge to real-world systems.
• Cooperate with experienced engineers and teammates across different disciplines, gaining invaluable industry insights and knowledge.
• Learn, grow, and share ideas in a supportive environment that fosters your career development.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• A recent graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience gained through exposure to software technologies in coursework or internships, focusing on developing software or testing concepts. 
• Passionate about technology with exposure to software development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills, ability to work in teams, and excellent communication capabilities.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a leading global company, utilising technologies such as .NET, Java/J2EE, Salesforce, ReachJS, Angular, Google Analytics, Cloud Tech, Azure, ERP systems, Mobile development and more.
