Job Description
What You Will Do
- Develop knowledge, use and advance our Principled Based Management culture
- Build effective working relationships with the operational teams to develop EHS capability at the plant
- Foster an environment of collaboration and active participation with all employees, where employees understand and exercise their decision rights and raise ideas and improvements around EH&S.
- Develop and align facility EH&S programs and strategies according to the plant operational bets and projects.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety legislation and internal standards.
- Ensuring cost-effective implementation of strategic EH&S-targets to ensure maximum safety for all employees and implementation of environmental projects
- Supporting internal and external EH&S audits
- Leading the investigation and reporting of EH&S incidents to develop systems and capability of employees to prevent further incidents.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure contractors adhere to our Safety Vision and follow EH&S standards.
- Regular reporting, advising, and coaching of the plant leadership team on all EH&S-relevant issues to ensure the company’s competitiveness
- Develop, improve, and implement EH&S training systems to meet plant needs
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Safety, Environmental, or related field
- 0 – 2 years of EHS experience
- Communication skills in both language Arabic and English
- Communication, analysis and problem-solving skills

- Broad-based knowledge of Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety UAE regulations
- Ability to coach and influence others
- EHS relevant studies or certificates
