Role Overview
The Social Media & Marketing Officer will be responsible for building and executing the company’s social media strategy, producing engaging content, and supporting the design of corporate and research materials. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong writing skills with a good design sense and an understanding of professional/corporate audiences.
Key Responsibilities
· Social Media Growth: Develop and execute strategies to grow followers and engagement on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
· Content Management: Plan, create, and manage day-to-day social media content, including posts, stories, captions, and descriptions
· Newsletters: Write, design, and distribute regular newsletters to clients and subscribers, keeping them informed of company updates, market insights, and services
· Design Support: Use Canva to design visually appealing materials, including social media graphics, corporate profile decks, and market research report layouts
· Content Calendar: Maintain a consistent posting schedule aligned with company activities, industry news, and marketing campaigns
· Brand Consistency: Ensure all content reflects the company’s brand voice, tone, and visual identity
· Performance Tracking: Monitor engagement metrics and follower growth, and adjust content strategy based on performance data
· Collaboration: Work closely with management and valuation teams to translate technical/industry content into engaging, accessible material for a broader audience
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
· 1–3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing (experience in a corporate/professional services environment is a plus)
· Proven track record of growing social media followers/engagement, particularly on LinkedIn
· Strong written communication skills, with experience writing newsletters or corporate content
· Proficiency in Canva, with a good eye for design and layout
· Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, LinkedIn Analytics) is a plus
· Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple content pieces simultaneously
· Understanding of the finance, real estate, or valuation industry is an advantage but not required.
