Primary Art and Design Cover Teacher

Job Description

We are looking for an inspirational and highly qualified Art and Design Cover Teacher to join our Primary team for Term 3 with possibility of full time contract for next year. The ideal candidate would be confident in delivering and contributing towards Arcadia’s bespoke art and design curriculum. You would enjoy teaching a variety of ages and levels and will have experience teaching across Primary. You will also contribute to the wider school community across the primary and secondary. 

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required in relevant specialist subject area.
• Fully qualified teacher holding BEd, MEd, PGCE and/or QTS.
• Min of 3 years teaching experience.
• Committed professionals who are dedicated to raising standards in alignment with the schools vision, mission and values.
• Outstanding practitioners with the ability to deliver innovative lessons built on current pedagogical thinking and forward-thing initiatives.
• Teachers with a natural desire to learn, contribute to and participate in the schools Professional Learning Community.
• Skilled at using digital tools to ensure that learning is enriched and relevant so as to complement the schools ‘Apple Distinguished School’ status.
• A professional who works collaboratively both within the immediate team and across the wider school community.
