Program Design – Content Development Manager

Job Description

The Program Design & Content Development Manager will play a key role in leading and overseeing multiple aspects of the destination training programs, with heavy focus on the designing of the of program materials, as well as the execution plans of the user engagements of the destination training programs and projects. This position requires expertise in content strategy, material design and development, and a strategic approach to align content with program and project objectives while ensuring engaging and effective experiences. Additionally, the position will involve integrating with stakeholder and client account management, facilitating seamless coordination and collaboration between material creation and organizational goals, thereby ensuring that they meet the needs of diverse stakeholders while fulfilling program objectives. This role also includes responsibilities in managing the Content Development and engagement team, supporting program managers.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Manage the Content Development and Engagement Team
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Finalize all content development and engagement materials created by the team for any of the community experiences

Strategic Content Creation:

  • Spearhead the development of engaging and educational training materials for community programs, ensuring alignment with program objectives and audience learning needs.
  • Collaborate closely with program managers to understand program requirements and translate them into comprehensive and effective training content to be executed by the team.

Material Enhancement and Consistency:

  • Maintain and improve the quality and consistency of training materials, ensuring adherence to established content guidelines and standards.
  • Continuously review and refine existing materials to optimize content effectiveness and relevance.

Content Strategy Development:

  • Contribute to the development of content strategies for community programs, ensuring that training materials are aligned with program goals and resonate with the target audience.
  • Stay updated on best practices in training content development and incorporate innovative approaches into material creation.

End-to-End Training Material Production:

  • Oversee the complete content production process, from ideation and conceptualization to the creation and delivery of engaging training materials.
  • Develop content for various channels, ensuring it suits digital platforms, print materials, social media, and events.

Quality Control and Improvement:

  • Ensure all training content meets high-quality standards, is accurate, and aligns with the learning objectives of the program.
  • Regularly gather and analyze user feedback to make data-driven improvements to training materials and enhance user engagement.

Support for Program Managers:

  • Work closely with Community Experience Managers to support their program content and engagement needs.
  • Manage the content development and engagement team and overlook the finalization of all materials created for our community experience programs.

Essential:

  • Diploma in a related field (e.g., graphic design, visual arts, communication) or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in photography, video editing, or animation.
  • Proven experience in graphic design or a related creative role.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other industry-standard software.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, composition, typography, and color theory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality designs within specified deadlines.
  • Excellent creativity and artistic ability.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take creative direction and work well within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Desirable:

  • Proven experience in graphic design or a related creative role.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and emerging technologies in the creative industry.
  • Experience in producing visual content for community programs or events.
