Our client is a dynamic firm with global reach, seeking a highly qualified Senior Accountant to join their finance team and help scale the operations.

Role Overview

As Senior Accountant, you will assume end-to-end ownership of the accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will have managed multi-currency entities with assets value of USD 3-5 Million per month and hold an active CPA license. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services environment. Excellent technical accounting skills, systems expertise (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Airtable, Joiin), and a strong process mindset are required.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain the full accounting cycle for one or more entities: journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, month-end and year-end close.

•Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for multi-currency entities.

•Reconcile cash and multi-currency accounts; monitor daily cash movements.

•Capable of preparing to investor performance reporting.

•Manage external audit and tax processes: liaise with auditors/tax advisors, and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.

•Implement, maintain and improve accounting systems and processes (QuickBooks, Xero, Airtable, Excel/Google Sheets integrations).

•Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies, and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS (as applicable) and regulatory requirements.

•Provide insights and ad-hoc analytical support to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

•Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing is a must.

•Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience.

•Experience handling multi-currency entities/accounts and managing portfolios/entities with assets USD 3-5 Million per month.

•Proficiency with accounting systems and tools: QuickBooks, Xero, Airtable and Joiin.

•Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, ability to work under deadlines, and effective communication skills.

Preferred:

•Experience with automated reconciliation tools, API integrations and workflow automation.

•Familiarity with trading platforms, brokers, derivatives or foreign-exchange exposures.

•Experience in a global (cross-border) trading or investment environment.
