Senior Accountant

Job Description

Key Duties:

Monthly

Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements (4th Working day).
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Assist in tax audit and returns, ensuring compliance with UAE Tax laws.
Weekly

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Ensure Financial statements made with the compliance of IFRS and other accounting standards and ensuring consistency.
Reconcile GL and intercompany accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Daily

Monitor and manage cash flows, ensure that company have always enough liquidity.
Report daily fund flow statement.
Liaise with clients, vendors, and other departments to support financial operations and resolve any financial queries or issues.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other key accounts to maintain accuracy.
Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and support decision-making.

Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:

Every decision has been made under the supervision of General manager and finance manager and responsibility has been mentioned above.

Knowledge:

• knowledge of IFRS and other financial reporting standards.
• Expertise in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and forecasting.

Competencies:

• Expert in accounting principles, financial analysis, tax regulations, and proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Sharp attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to interpret complex financial data to provide actionable insights.

Qualification & Experience:

2 to 3 years of experience in Car Rentals.
Overall 5.5 years of experience.

Salary range – AED10,000~12000
